September Guided Tour Tickets

Guided tours are about 50 minutes in length. During the tour of the Black House Museum you will learn about the Black family and their connection to Ellsworth, the Downeast region and beyond.

The collection in the museum reflects furnishings from three generations of the Black family and include different styles of European and American furniture, portraits and miniatures, books, souvenirs from trips abroad, sleighs and carriages, and an assortment of silver, china, and glassware. All items in the collection are directly connected to the Black family or workers of Woodlawn.
