About the event
Spring is officially underway, which means that amphibians are on the move. During appropriate conditions, 'big nights' can occur where tremendous numbers of frogs and salamanders can be found moving to and from breeding locations.
This program, led by Maine Big Night founder Greg LeClair, will involve a lecture about the ecology of big nights and how you can get involved in protecting migrating amphibians in roadways, followed by a field visit to the pond on campus to look for amphibians and other wildlife.
