About the event

This event is FULL.

Learn about the community science project Maine Big Night from the creator of the project, Greg LeClair.

With the warm, rainy nights of spring, frogs and salamanders embark on their migrations and move by the thousands to their breeding locations. However, as many of these amphibians move, they encounter roads - and many don't survive. As a result, Maine Big Night (MBN): Amphibian Migration Monitoring was founded to coordinate volunteers around the state to protect and study these migrations. Learn about the biology and ecology of amphibians and their migrations, and how you can participate in your local area.

Space is limited. Light refreshments will be provided. Suggested donation of $5/person.
