About the event

THIS EVENT IS FULL

Homeschool students and their families are invited to participate in a FREE talk and walk about amphibians with science educator and Registered Maine Guide, Martina Dittmar. Participants will learn some unique characteristics of amphibians, how to identify some of the main amphibians living in our area, the importance of vernal pools, and listen to the sounds of some frogs. 

Participants will go for a walk in the forest to look for amphibians and their eggs. Be sure to wear waterproof shoes as the trails may be wet.

Adults must accompany students during this event. Space is limited and pre-registration required. To pre-register, email kelly.lunt@woodlawnmuseum.org
