This event is currently FULL. 

This program will provide an introduction to the 19th-century logging industry in Maine and the schooners and other sailing vessels that transported Maine lumber along the coast and around the world. The talk will connect the Woodlawn’s Black family and Ellsworth with the broader context of this booming industry. Presented by Jeana Ganskop, Education Director at Penobscot Marine Museum, this presentation will draw from PMM’s rich print and photo archives.

Suggested donation $5 per person. Light refreshments will be provided.  Space is limited and RSVP is required.
