Black House Museum Carpet Project Talk and Tour

Join Executive Director, Meghan Doherty for a special presentation on the Black House Museum carpet project with the first phase of the project scheduled for completion in 2027, the 200 year anniversary of the Black family living in the house. Woodlawn is partnering with the same company in England, Grosvenor Wilton, that produced the original rugs for the house in 1827 to create new carpets for two areas within the museum.

Following the presentation, guests will have the opportunity to visit the museum and  and envision the revived space.
