Carriage Barn

  • Originally built as a two-bay garage in the 1890s for Nixon's cars, it had many subsequent uses including as a chicken coop and caretaker’s workshop.

  • In 2021, the original structure was demolished and a replica four-bay building was constructed to house a permanent exhibit of the Black family carriages. The exhibit is open for viewing seasonally.​​
