FULL: Science Saturday: Dragonflies and Damselflies

What animal has nearly 360 degree vision and a 95% hunting success rate? It’s the dragonfly!

Come learn about the dragonflies, and their cousins the damselflies, that call Maine home. Maine Master Naturalist Elise Smorczewski will give a short presentation and then we will walk the grounds to try spotting dragonflies and damselflies. If conditions permit, we may net some specimens for up-close viewing of these extraordinary insects.
