About the event
The Black House Museum took three years to build from 1824-1827. In September of 1827 John and Mary Black went to Boston on a shopping trip to buy furnishings for their new home. Details on both the building and furnishings can be found in the Black Family Papers. Join Roz Rea and Brian Pfeiffer to learn what we know about these two events.
Please note that the start time for this talk is 5PM not our normal 6PM.
The lecture is FREE with a suggested donation of $5 per person. Coffee, tea and cookies will be provided.
